Appearance: It pours a very dark clear nut brown beer with a small head. Not much lacework. Aroma: A lot of US hops. Sweet with huge amounts of candy floss which is accompanied by hints of walnuts and malt. Flavor and palate: Light to medium bodied. Good hop presence. Nutty. Pretty sweet. Highly drinkable. Low bitterness but with a beautiful hop presence adding a lot to the taste. Some vanilla sneaking in. Dryish finish. Overall impression: Good and very pleasant. nwhicks (4), USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 12, 2009 Loved it. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Thick but shortlived foam. Deep red-brown color. Nice chokolate aroma with some american hops. The taste is very smooth with malts and chocolats without too much bitterness. Beeing a judge in the Swedish home browing competition in this class 2 years ago I think that this is among the smothest browns I’ve had. Defenetly worth drinking. jujubeast6000 (799), Houston, Texas, USA
