| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours a very dark amber color with a small off white head that diminishes very quickly to nothing. The aroma is rich malt with chocolate, and roasted nut. The taste is similar to the aroma with a rich roasted malt with a lot of coffee flavor. Easy to drink and a very good brown ale from Brooklyn. jmm635 (269), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Deep brown color with a slightly off-white head. Strong malty aroma with hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor is very similar to coffee ice cream. Too much in my opinion. Not very drinkable. Steely (176), , Sweden
