Thin, weak brown color. Heavy malt aroma with hints of rubbing alcohol in the smell. Malty, slightly medicinal flavor. Not great, not horrible, just highly average. Very watery palate.

Definitely creamy in texture; tastes nice but was replacing a Tilburg’s and was not that pleased with it; definite hoppy taste with a little aftertaste that is OK; not bad.

Pours a very dark brown with a tanish head. Looks like a cola in the glass. Aroma is very sweet and malty. Very nice aroma. Taste is thin, watery and way too sweet. Tastes like candy. It needs more malt flavor.

Bottle. 12 fl. oz. A clear, brown color resembling iced tea with fine, tan head. Aroma is very sweet and nutty. Thin body with a soft, dry texture. Flavor is sweet caramel with very little hops and some funky tartness. Its a bit weird, but I kinda like it.

Draught into pint glass. Dark brown colour with a small tan head that quickly disapperead. Aroma was all caramel. Flavour was pleasant but maybe a bit sour in the finish although balanced with some nutty tones too.

Bottle. Brown pour, with some light tan head. Lots of chocolate malt in the aroma, some caramel, a little cream and roasted malt; floral hops also present. Flavor is similar to the aformentioned aroma; good palate, and roastedness stays on the palate. Good for the style.

Bottle poors a murky brown color ale. The malt is a molasses, grain and the hops are above average. This brown sugar ale leaves a clean finish. The flavor is good but it lacks a lingering taste that would put it over the top.
