Dec 1, 2008 Clear amber, small pale head. Nose is grapefruity hops and toffee malts, quite straightforward. Flavor is caramel malts with flowery hops, lots of grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Slight metallic tinge. Medium bodied, strongly carbonated mouthfeel. This one felt great a few years back, now it’s just alright. Misses that last punch aromawise.

Nov 29, 2008 Hazy amber with a thin white head that’s gone daddy gone. Aroma is heavily floral with some light malt and caramel to balance it out. Taste is heavy floral too, somewhat vegetal with a sweet balanced finish. Decent but not great.

Nov 27, 2008 Tasting at Brewtopia. This is another pretty good beer from the Brooklyn Brewery. Copper colored pour with a small head. Hops hit the nose(citrus). Some malt is detectable, but the hops are winning the battle. Flavor is quite hoppy as well. I found it to be a very nice beer.

Nov 19, 2008 pours pale copper, thin film for a head. citrus aroma with light malt. Some funky water and metallic notes are in there as well, unfortunately. Flavor is english malt and kent golding hops. light, fruity appearance, weak lacing. slightly fizzy mouthfeel. very bitter finish. body is thin and bitter.

Nov 18, 2008 (12 oz. bottle served in shaker on Nov. 13, 2008) Poured copper with orange tint, low-medium carbonation, nice bubbly white two finger head formed and laced. Aroma of citrus and hops. Hits the mouth with a medium body, hops come in the middle, finish has a nice citrus note and acidity to it.

Appearance: Copperbrown with a very small, white, head. A bit disappointing.
Aroma: Caramel, Pine, Citric notes, Metal
Flavor: Caramel, Malt, Pine, Flowers, Grass.
Palate: Quite balanced with a decent bitterness at the end. Medium carbonation. Feels a bit thin.
A very drinkable ipa but it lacks that extra to make it a really good beer. I’d wish for some more body and more flavor. Overall, worth a try!

Oct 23, 2008 Pours a transparent light amber to golden yellow. Highly carbonated with a sturdy head.
Sweet citrus hop aroma, with a hint of strawberry.
Very present hop flavor upfront., followed by bitter citrus rind, lemon, and a crisp finish.
Palate is full and flavorful. Very balanced consistently. Rather enjoyable.

Oct 17, 2008 Bottle pours a cloudy amber color with a foamy beige head. Good lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is rather hoppy, but noticeable malt too. Flavor is similar to the aroma. Malt is more pronounced than in most IPAs. Nice bitterness in the finish.
