Good aroma including hops, spices, malts. This was a pleasant surprise. Purchased 12oz bottles in Fleming Island, Florida. I’ll be purchasing again. 12many (231), Ohio, USA

I didn’t see the East India on the label at first so I thought this was an impressive Pale Ale until bigmmartin told me otherwise. Then I had to correct my opinion. Citrusy, earthy hops with a llight malt backbone. Flavor is mostly a mild bitterness but with a good mouthfeel and clean finish. Good but not impressive. AndyReynolds (281), Wilder, Kentucky, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Poured a golden color with thin, quickly dissapating white head. Tasted hoppy, but not what one would expect from an IPA. Went down really smooth and was very refreshing. A great beer for a hot day. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Aug 25, 2008 I think this might be the worst IPA I’ve ever had. Imbalanced, skunky and putrid...yes I said putrid. Flavor leaves a rancid bitter aftertaste. Horrible. Bigmmartin (371), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Sampled from bottle at Dayton Ale Fest. Doesn’t contain the strong hop aroma and flavor I’m used to in most IPAs. But maybe that’s what they were going for with an EIPA. Definitely more mellow in flavor, but does have a very nice crisp clean finish. Slightly hoppy and very drinkable. Krazyjon (11), Pensacola, Florida, USA
