The aroma and the flavour both gives proof of an average IPA - notes of citrus fruits, hops, some fruity notes and malty caramel. machfive55 (231), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2008 The beer was quite enjoyable...my initial impression was that the beer was heavy on bittering hops, but less on aroma or flavor hops. As the beer warms some of the bitterness mellows out to allow the english malts to come through nicely. There are some piney notes from the hops, and not a particularly noticeable yeast character. I think this is a nice solid IPA but not one of my favorites as IPA’s go. A good beer but not for a session Jonte (827), Gothenburg, Sweden

Hoppy, bitter flavor that went well with the salmon we cooked up that night. Less aftertaste than other EIPA’s I’ve had. Very nice overall. markwise (1187), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 29, 2008 This beer pours a deep amber with a tiny, yet noticeable white head. The aroma is very floral with a hint of pine, citrus, and spice. The flavor is malty with a mellow bitter taste, but it finishes somewhat clean. Not perfect, but still very good. A mellow IPA. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Draught. Pours dark gold, with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and citrus, not too bold. Taste is sweet biscuity malt up front, with a bit of caramel sweetness, with a nice citrusy, somewhat piney hop bitterness emerging about halfway in. Hoppiness is rounded, not overly bright - excellent balance. Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation, with a nice dry finish. Great sessionable version of the style.
