| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 16, 2009 Clear orange pour. Decent hop aroma with elements of dry fruit. Wet hops for sure. Has some apple taste upfront with the brush of hops past the swallow. Finish is pretty astringent hops that remains wet. Decent with a less than stellar finish. CUJO (367), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 14, 2009 bottle: pint glass: pours a dark amber, leaving 2 fingers of dry, off white head. The nose is not giving enough hops/ bitters as expected, instead some more sweet qualities come through. The taste is much of the same... not a epic, battle ready viking, glory brew of hops... instead a well balanced hoppy yet, sweet, maybe citrus feeling beer. Interesting... mike67 (85), , New Jersey, USA

Nice lacing. Aroma is light, citrus and caramel malt. Medium body. Nice balance on the palate of juicy caramel malt, grapefruit and hops. Finish is long, dry and bitter. Very good IPA from Brooklyn. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Appearance is a lighter orange IPA color with a finger of snow-white head. Hazy and somewhat cloudy. Looks quite good.
Smell is floral, aromatic citrus hops. Malt has a bitter aroma. Bittersweet with more warmth. Almost a Belgiany harshness to the scent.
Taste is a solid bitter, but floral hop flavor. Bitter on the back of the tongue. Sweeter on the swallow than a typical IPA. Some bitter fruit and spicy orange also comes thorugh.
Feels thick and milky. A little chunky. Leaves a bitter film. Spicy on the tongue. Bubbly and fizzy. Overall it’s a bitter, spicy IPA. Like a hoppy farmhouse or Saison to me. A bit much. Hopper (336), San Antonio, Texas, USA
