| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Sample at July 17, 2009 Beer Club meeting. An amber-colored lager with a lovely head. Malty aroma with hints of hay, no doubt dry-hopping. A floral, fresh hop flavor. Damn good for a lager. Probably the best lager I’ve had in a while. simoneopazz (56), , Italy

birra dal colore leggermente ramato,e dalla schiuma compatta.al palato lascia quel giusto amarognolo che non guasta.
è una lager che consiglio vivamente a tutti!!!!

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Best before April 2007. This poured a frothy white head of one finger, gradually diminishing to nothing. The body was scarcely like a lager, rather more like a pale ale and so was a most pleasant surprise. THe colour was a clear orangey amber, with a very nice aroma of hops and malt in what seemed like a 60/40 ratio. The taste echoed the aroma, maybe being oven hoppier than that. Mouthfeel was smooth and the finish was more sweet than bitter. I indeed liked this beer! juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Pours a dark amber color with a small, off white head that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma shows toasted bread and grains, earthy hops, and a caramel malt base. The flavor follows suit with the toasted grains and floral hops coming through with just a touch of sweetness from the caramel malt. Medium bodied with ample carbonation leads to a slightly bitter finish. This is a well made lager and nice version of the style. FunkyBrewster (503), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep golden with a small white head that lingers. Aroma is crisp and malty, very refreshing and sweet. The caramel notes dominate over a nice subtle floral hopiness. Flavor starts crisp and clean. Nice sweetness but it never really subsides and continues to dominate over the slight hop bitterness in the finish. Hops are again very floral. Definitely a decent easy drinking beer, just not greatly balanced.
