Pours a slightly cloudy brownish amber with a two finger dense head and aromas that are an interesting mix of spices (coriander and pepper), apple juice, grass and pine needles. Flavor is a decent mix of dusty grains, spices and apples. This is pretty good for a lager in a can. Jsawyer (286), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours translucent bubbly copper with a thin white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is leafy english hops, apple and pear esters, honey-biscuit malt. Flavor is honey, pear, apple cider, biscuit, subtle maple wood and raisin character, undertones of caramel and chocolate, and a soft hop presence. Overall complexity is very subtle. I’m tempted to say its like a pear cider with a bready aftertaste. Palate is light being a lager, there is a somewhat carbonated bite but overall very smooth. A very good lager. njbfr (105), New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Pours a golden amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is heavy hops, not what I was expecting from a Vienna. Flavor is akin to an IPA and certainly not what I wanted in a Vienna lager. Complex malt character is kind of ruined by the hop flavor. Incredible head retention and lacing! Some of the best I’ve ever seen. Nordcore (290), North of, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Bottle. Light amber with some red in it. Clear with a small head. Aroma; Lots of fruits with a small bitter ending. bembelembe (153), Zagreb, Croatia
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Appealing amber color. Roasted caramel malt with bitter herbal pine hops. Biscuit & wood notes. Medium carbonated. Bitter-herbal aftertaste. Very enjoyable refreshing beer. Mutualaid (138), Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 7, 2009 Pours amber with a huge, foamy cream head. Mild caramel and straw aromas but the piney hop bouquet really shines through here. Nothing forward flavor-wise, even a bit weak. Just some hops and toast in the finish. Could use some more body. Very drinkable but nothing special. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2009 Bottle. Deep amber with foamy white head that is long-lasting. Aroma is sweet malt, wholemeal biscuit, and very floral hops. The body is firm and has good quaffability too with a long-lasting flavor profile and lots of biscuity malt, yet is refreshing too. Remains mostly floral and reminiscent of Fuggles in its hop character. Balanced. A nice beer but tastes best when chilled. Rustyham (581), miami, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 5, 2009 If you have to drink a lager, drink this. It has the presence and malty complexity of an American Pale Ale and the hoppy bitterness too. Crisp, clean- great to chug but better to savor.
