| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2008 Tap at Draught House Pours a weak, uninspired amber with a leafy strawberry mixed in water odor. Flavor is autumn leaf and malty sweet nut. Average mouthfeel. More like a Bronx Cheer than a Brooklyn beer. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Bottle @ Michelle and Rob’s wedding: This beer pours a golden amber color with a nice head. The aroma was a little maltier and hoppier than most lagers. The flavor was smooth and well balanced. Hints of hops, caramel malts, and not very complex. An excellent beer, one I may have thought otherwise before trying. kidmartinek (1001), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Pours a dark golden amber and looks like a bock. Excellent carbonation. Pours with a lot of head but wettles down to 1/4 inch in a short while. Aroma is malty, pure and clean. Clavor is malty with a littlw spice, some mild sweetness and a good hop presence. This beer is damn good for a lager. The finish is full. Body is medium. Light lacing. Notes of clean crystal malt and slight bitterness on the finish. djd07 (755), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear orange golden color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is wheat, caramel and bread. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is first a light hop with a crisp malt finish. A great session beer, glad it finally made it down to texas. Paul150 (37), , Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2008 Pours a medium amber with a small, short-lasting head that dissipates to a nice lacing. Aroma is balanced between yeast, malts and hops, but is very mild overall. Taste is fairly hoppy for the style with some hints of the malt character behind it. Mouthfeel is still on the watery side, but it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. Another excellent, drinkable offering from the Brooklyn Brewery.
