Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

pours a big off white creamy head amber colour, looks very appetizing. Aroma is very floral and fruity with notes of malt and hops. It has a medium body with distinct biterness and a quality that i can’t clearly describe, but I love it! mouthfeel is rather sparkly, but it goes together perfectly with the flavour. If I had to choose a beer to drink for the rest of my life this would be it!

12 oz bottle. Pours clear deep amber/gold with a small off white head. Nose of floral hops, malts and perhaps a hint of wheat. Taste of malts with some nice hoppiness coming on towards the somewhat bitter finish. Medium body. Overall pretty impressive.

This one had the predominantly malty biscuit aroma of a Vienna, and a slightly off-white head. The liquid pours with the dark copper color. The taste was extra sweet even for a Vienna, and was balanced nicely though with floral hops. A good session brew.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a copper/amber color with a light white head. Floral aroma and hints of citrus and caramel. Surprisingly more hoppy than I expected but nicely balanced b/w the malts and hops. Light bodied. Finishes bitter. Pretty good.

Can courtesy of SantaTy5592 Pours a golden color with a little haziness in it and a giant foamy off white head. Aroma is citrus, bread, hops, caramel. This brew is light, hoppy, citrusy, malt, bitter yet easy drinking. Much better than expected.

12 oz bottle poured into a lager glass. Poured a clear gold with a huge sparse white head. Aroma was piney hops and some malt. Flavor is hoppy with a good malt balance. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
