This stuff was tastey and much better than I was expecting. A great dark amberish lager with some nice hops in there to boot. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Sampled at MCBF. Pours amber with nice retentive off white head. Fruity nose. Light bodied but not watery. This is nicely balanced- hops, malt, sweetness all meld into a refreshing lager with a citrusy nuance. This is what macro loyalists SHOULD be drinking. Pours an orange color with an off-white head that sticks around. Perfect malt/hop balance that has a clean semi-dry finish. andreic (53), Ireland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Bottle. Amber to slightly darker. A thick dense off-white head with an almost greenish tinge. A massive whack of citrus-y hop aroma. Some malt up front with a hoppy, very bitter finish which almost tastes a little burnt. A good beer but perhaps not one I could have too many of in a session. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 23, 2009 Bottle, I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet! A gem of a beer, this simple lager pours amber-brown with a medium sized head. The palate is exceptionally crisp, fairly light, with a semi-short finish. Aroma is delicately floral, earthy, and with some caramel and toffee notes. Flavor has a nice earthy quality, with substantial floral and herbal hop varieties. It levels on a really pleasant bitter-sweet note, full of just the right amount of flavor, before settling into a soft finish. Excellent. jmulv (86), Rensselaer, New York, USA

Just a clean, crisp beverage; you can’t really go wrong with one. Trust me, pick up a 6er or head down to the brewery on Friday night.
