Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 18, 2003 A deep red beer with a fine slightly orange head. Very lovely fruity aroma with sweet malt notes. The flavor lacks a little compared to the aroma - a little watery to start off, but then a sweet nice bitterness hits the back of the tongue and lingers for a long time. A very nice lager. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 4, 2007 Bottled. Clearamber, small head, Distinct crystal malt aroma with some canteloupe-like hops. Fairly sweet with the expectedly clean, hard mouthfeel goes well with the flowery aromtic hops. Light-medium bodied, medium bitternes. Enjoyable Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 17, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Quite dark - and very pretty - amber colour, limited head. The top quality aroma hops are revealed already in the nose and certainly when the first drops hit the tastebuds. Nice bitternes, but first and foremost aroma, with a fine malty body. A fine example of an excellent microbrewed American Lager. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 3, 2006 Bright amber-orange coloru. Slightly chewy, caramelly aroma. Full body. Lightly toasty, hints of caramel. Clean. Fairly flavourful brew. Nothing terribly special in terms of either flavour or aroma but quite well executed and with enough body and nuance in its caramel/toast notes to keep things flowing. Nicely done. yespr (6373), Copenhagen O, Denmark Sep 27, 2007 35.5 cL bottle. Pours deep orange, clear, with a slight off-white head. Fruity hops aroma, slight caramel malt. Malty flavour, slight roasted with a minor bread like note. Fruity and bitter hops join in a bit later, given a rather dry flavour into the finish with a minor refreshing fruity note. Slight soapy mouthfeel/flavour.
