Commercial Description:
In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, we forge barley malt and hops from Germany, aromatic raw sugar from Mauritius and yeast from Belgium into our latest beer, Brooklyn Local 1. Behind the full golden color you'll find an alluring aroma, a dynamic complex of flavors. Belgian flair, Brooklyn fortitude and a dusting of our special yeast. To create this beer, we use the old technique of 100% bottle re-fermentation, a practice now rare even in Europe. It gives this beer a palate of unusual depth. Enjoy it locally or globally, as an aperitif or with your favorite dishes. It is particularly nice with spicy seafood and with fine cheeses.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and spices - especially coriander. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of alcohol, and medium notes of coriander as well as other spices, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. Cloudy golden. Yeasty banana aroma. Sweet and medium bodied. Surprisingly slender. Soft and juicy with orange, bread and paper as well as coriander. Remains drinkable despite an immens amount of flavours.

Bottle at KØ07. Dusty, buttery sour rag aroma, better than it sounds. Clear golden colour. The flavour seems rather like a tripel at first, but the hops are more pronounced.

Bottled@Beer Hunters, Pori. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, earth and some alcohol. Flavour is fruits and hoppy along with some sugary sweetness. Not too exciting, but very Belgian in the style and flavour. Quite watery palate. 6 3 6 3 12.

Bottled@Home. Hazy yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruits, hops, earth and some spices. Flavour is quite much the same with also some warming alcohol. Quite zesty finish. 7 3 7 3 14
