Dark ruby-brown pour, dense tan head with excellent retention and lacing. Complex aromas of Demerara sugar, sweet malt, dry herbs, and feet. Palate develops burnt sugar, candy sugar, dark fruit, vanilla, and bittering hops. Light, dry, herbal finish; creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Rich and most drinkable.

Pours a slightly hazy medium brown with a thin layer of foamy tan head. Aroma is bubblegum, dark cherries, and spicey yeast. Flavor is brown sugar, raisins, plums, and a slightly roasted malt base. Warming finish. Overall, enjoyable.

Pour was amber/brown with an aroma of syrup. The flavor was that of belgian fruity malts, honey, molasses, brown sugar and raisins. Mouthfeel was really carbonated. A decent brew. No complaints, no wows.

Bottle. Slightly hazy brownish pour with plenty of foam. Aroma is yeasty, sweet malt and honey. Flavor is tons of malt, honey, peppery and effervescent on the finish. Ok brew, especially if you like sweeter belgian style brews.

A strong darker Belgian ale. Reddish in color with a thin tan head. Tastes of raisins, caramel apples, and Belgian yeast. Very pleasant as it warms although not a very strong aroma.

Bottle. Pours brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, yeast, sugar. Flavor of malt, yeast, toffee, toast, brown sugar, fig, and alcohol as it slides down. Full bodied with a good amount of carbonation and a bite to it. More straightforward than a lot of other Belgian ales, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. A tasty Belgian that would go well with a lot of dishes.

Bottle. Tasty beer. Pours dark brown with thick beige head. Nice malty aroma with hints of honey. Taste of more caramel malts, vanilla, honey. Light body, very drinkable.

Scored a bottle of this from Chevy Chase Wine in DC. Thick tan head atop a transparent dark brown body. Aroma of Belgian yeast, dark fruits, bubble gum, some citrus. Flavor is nice and the honey really comes through while not being overly sweet, some Belgian candy sugar, Belgian yeast, dark fruits, flowers. Full bodied but drinkable.
