(bottle) Opaque, dark brown beer with brown medium, airy head. Caramelized sugar, and yeasty aroma, some alcohol, and dark fruit and spice. Flavor has strong but well blended alcohol, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Dark fruit and citrus-orange, ginger. Medium to full bodied, and soft carbonation.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for this one. Pretty awesome Belgian strong. Spicy, fruity nose with a bit of funk. Flavor is about the same with more spice and less funk. Nice to drink, no hint of alcohol, full-bodied. Dug it.

Dark garnet pour with a big beige head and drippy lace. Apples, spice and candi sugar on the nose. Flavor was more complex then I expected. Very sweet with hints of orange, dark fruits, yeast and spice. Pretty good, but a little hard to tackle a bottle on my own

Aroma is sweet and spicy. Dark ruby brown belgian color, unfiltered with a nice off white head. Taste is honey sweetness with a nice spice balance. Spices are not too heavy though. A little dry and very drinkable. Great.

750 mL into tulip. Pours a deep ruby with a huge, four-finger tan head. Great aroma of Belgian yeast, candied dark fruits, black cherry soda, honey, nutmeg. Okay lacing. Taste is brown sugar, tart black cherries, fresh dates, yeast earthiness, orange peel, and cinnamon. Very soft on the palate. Alcohol is well hidden but almost cloying. Dry, earthy aftertaste. Very fruity and sweet overall. Reminds me of Unibroue Maudite. Yum.

Bottle. Aroma of candi sugar, honey, nutty yeast. Flavor the same, some sweet notes, some yeasty notes. Nothing wrong with it, well brewed and all, but really nothing interesting about it either, just another Belgian to me.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a thick light tan head. Aroma of sweet fruit, honey, and light yeast. Flavor of nice cherry notes and sweet malt. Nothing too special, but pretty decent to sip on. 7/4/7/4/15 (3.7/5)

Tasted at Forest City. Pours dark brown with a frothy head. Aroma of sweet, ripe fruit and spice. Flavor is full and mouth coating, offering up malty sweetness, dark fruit, and back palate alcohol. Finish is dry and sticky. Nice flavors overall, great beer.
