750mL bailed and corked bottle. Cool bottle that matches nicely next the 1 in the collection. Very good smelling when poured. Light spice with some hops. Sweetish but not cloying t all. Awesome tasting beer. Very good

750ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a huge, fluffy tan head. Nose is of raisin, oranges and dark malt. Taste is of roast malt and honey. Mouthfeel is medium with alcohol noticeable and lots of carbonation. Too much carbonation, actually. Not as good as Local 1, IMO.

25 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy brown body with a two finger frothy beige head that had great retention. The nose is sweet dark malts with a dark honey accent. Some light coffee, cola, and alcohol notes. Very sweet flavor with lots of honey, some orange rind, and nutty and lightly roasty malt. A good bit of yeast influence throughout. Finishes with a hearty alcohol kick. Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy with lots of fizzy overactive carbonation. Warming alcohol burn down the throat. Overall, this is decently done, but it’s just not my thing. Too sweet and syrupy for me.

Bottle at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured a hazy light brown with a light brown head. Aroma was of sweet fruits, particularly sour apple and tart cherry with a bit of honey as well. Flavor was more yeasty with undertones of the fruits above.

Pours a reddish-brown with a thick creamy beige head. Retention is impressive. Throws a haze, as to be expected. Nose is full of honey, caramel, and chamomile. Very slight hint of spice. Toasty malt bitterness serves to balance some of the over the top sweetness. Finish is warm alcohol and honey.

Poured a reddish brown hue with a nice tan head which had nice retention and lace. Aroma had nice fruity notes with some spicy coriander notes. Flavor had a nice fruity quality to it with a delicate sweetness to it. A nice warm alcohol presence in the finish.
