Bottle 75 cl. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Intense aroma of overripe fruit and yeast. Medium body, heavy carbonation and lots of overripe fruit being the dominant flavour combined with some brown sugar. Rather alcoholic finish. 160509

Bottle at a random Irish pub on South Beach. Hazy medium chestnut. Big head. Very yeasty aroma. Very spicy nose - cinnamon, nutmeg, fig, chocolate, sultanas...lots going on here. Spicy, fully malty palate. Fairly sweet. Lots of figs, but this yeast has a really nice spiciness. A refined dubbel, with admirable dryness and a complex character.
