There’s a nicely spicy quality to the aroma and there’s a bit of peppery alcohol sparkling through that blends well. Moderately sweet from the malt. Foamy mouthfeel from the carbonation.

Dark red-brown beer has ruby highlights and frothy head. Nose of caramel apples, chunky honey, with bits of cinnamon and coriander. Tastes quite sweet, nearly cloying, with not quite enough bitterness to check it IMO. Spicier than I’d like and a bit warm in the finish. This brewer usually nails drinkability but misses it this time.

Pours a dark brown with good head/lacing with fruity aroma. Way too dry, completely kills any sweetness from the orange/honey notes. I think this beer really missed the mark.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a thin but bubbly white head. Very mild but nice aroma, a bit a yeast, cherries, honey, very sweet. Flavor starts out sweet with dark fruits and citrus adding a touch of bitterness. Honey with a floral touch comes out as it goes down and then finishes dry with a touch of cherry tartness. Fairly smooth on the palate but well carbonated, alcohol is almost non existent. Overall very good.

750 ml bottle. From the US (H). Shared with Brandman.
Dark brown colour with small tan head. Weak sugary aroma with yeast and mild alcohol notes. Sweet sugary, mild hoppy and smooth flavour with some alcohol warmth but no alcohol taste. Smooth and balanced brew with lively carbonation. Not extremely complex though.

Deep mahogany, lasting beige head, good lacing. Aroma has some sweetness, yeast, caramel, lightly bitter. Flavour is of some citrus, caramel, moderate sweetness, fairly warm, floral, some honey. Sweet mouth, med body, high carb. Finishes warm, sweet, light bitterness

I found this to be rather boring. Nothing special.

750ml bottle.
Opened March 2009.
No date.

Phenomenal drinkable beer,No sign of high a.b.v. although a little on the sweet side, it smelled great with an attractive, sweet and slightly yeasty nose. Mouthfeel was very smooth. Oh, and tasty too.

Taster at The Mondial de la biere 09 in Montreal. The color is a dark brown with a heavy head and nice lace. The aroma is very strong of malt and spicies. The taste also of malt, ceral caramel and sweet fruits.A very good mix.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a fluffy off-white head that left sticky lacing along the glass. Aroma was moderately hoppy and yeasty with honey, fruit, candi sugar and caramel. Flavor was wild honey, belgian yeast, dark fruit, a hint of molasses and some caramel sweetness with a medium body and has a clean and dry finish. Decent brew
