Brown coloured beer with small off-white head and lots of carbonation. Sweet malty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is bitter ending more sweet.

Pours quite dark brown and hazy. Definite Belgian yeast aroma. Quite carbonated and actually a little thin. Alcohol is present but in minimal amounts. The taste really lingers. Bit of a pepper taste. No citrus evident to me.

Pours a huge 3 finger off white head, body is dark brown. Head retention and lacing are pretty good Aroma is of grape juice, sweet caramel malt, and some alcohol. No hops are detected, kinda underwhelming Taste is of dried prune, sweet malt and honey. No hops are detected. After taste is of some alcohol and peppery yeast. Mouth feel is good. Good amount of head was present throughout the beer adding some nice texture to it. Carbonation was on the aggressive side but not too much Overall it was good. Not as smooth as Local 1 but still not too hard to finish a 750ml bottle. Not a big fan of beers with honey added and it was apparent in here. Dont think I’d buy it again but it was worth a try.

750ml bottle. Aroma of dark fruits, rum, vanilla and maybe a touch of orange. Lots of carbonation gives the beer a full mouthfeel. Taste is dark fruits, rum, vanilla, chocolate. Well attenuated and easy to drink for such a large beer. Well done Brooklyn.

Plovmand, thanks for sharing. Bottle. Hazy brown body, with a medium off-white head. Aroma is dark fruits, raisins and dates, caramel. Flavor is also sweet from the dark fruits, but also brown sugar and notes of alcohol.

Good god this is fantastic. Pours a nice amber with an amazing, almost sweet taste. This is one of my new favorites. Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Maybe i enjoyed it so much because someone bought it for me, i’m a college student after all.

Bottle. Brown body with a steady light tan head. Very fruity aroma of dates, raisins, orange peel and sweet caramel. The flavour is complex. Dark fruit like prunes, sweet raisins, caramel, warming alcohol, light spices and oranges. Very nice Dubbel.

750ml. Pours copper brown with some red in there with an absolutely huge frothy tan and kind of light orange head. Very alive. Aroma is boozy with sweet malts, spice, dough, and lighter roast. Fruit is a big part of aroma also, as well as flavor. Flavor further includes yeasty feel, dry throughout and brown sugar. Spicy quick finish....Its Christmas and I’m Happy--happy with the beer and the day.
