Oct 15, 2008 Has a golden color to it that’s not as dark as most Oktoberfest beers. Has hints of malts and very light hops. Flavor has malty, caramel, with a little hops. Aftertaste is a little bitter. Not too bad though. I’m glad to have finally tried this one.

Oct 12, 2008 This beer is dark caramel brown in color. The beer is fairly transparent. Nice thin head floating around the top of the beer. Looks pretty good, but from the score, looks can be deceiving. This beer is fairly pungent. Has a heavy malt aroma. A slight toffee/butter aroma, but mainly dominated by the caramel malt sweet aroma. This beer does not have a bad aroma. Decent flavor. A nice creamy beer. The beer has a toasty caramel malt flavor as well. Overall, pretty good beer. I don’t think it should have received as low as a score as it did.

Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear red hued amber with a moderate sized creamy off-white head. Aroma is rich caramel malt. Sweet caramel in the flavor with a dry finish. Medium bodid with a nice dry lingering bitterness.
