Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Orangey copper and clear, little bit of head. Very weak aroma of caramel, sweet malt and bread. Watery mouthfeel. Crisp, clean, a bit of grassy bitterness. No real hop flavor, sweetness or roast. not much to it at all. Finishes ultra clean.

Pours a medium amber color with a medium sized off white head. Yeasty grainy nose. Not like "bread" like the best Octoberfest’s are -- Well, maybe bread *dough*. Taste is nicely malty with just a bit of hop. Short hop finish. A decent Oktoberfest beer, not outstanding.

Got to say that I really enjoyed this one, better than I thought it would be... this has a nice rich bready flavor up front that gives it good character that works....sweet malts, caramel, with a light hop backround..not bad at all..

Spicy nose with a touch of cinnamon and clove. Nice crystal clear coppery orange. Straight forward malt flavor followed with a touch of hops in the aftertaste. Overall a decent brew.

Pours an amber color with a white head. Light aromas of toasted malts, bread, and caramel. Flavor of caramel and toasted malts. Pretty simple refreshing beer.

Growler. Clear amber pour with lively carbonation and a small offwhite head. Aroma is toasty malt, caramel, subtle grain, and some spice. Flavor is mostly malt oriented with toasty and caramel varieties, complemented by a light roast and bready quality. Palate is medium with a nice effervescence and a supple, clean finish.
