| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2008 12oz bottle served in a lager glass. Pours dark amber with a quickly diminishing off-white head. Lots of caramel and biscuit on the nose. Very malty with some spicy hops to balance. Much more body than a standard fest beer. Not quite true to style, a little over the top, but still very good. Spab (301), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle and served in a dimpled mug. This beer poured a clear copper with a thin head of fine, tan bubbles that quickly receded. No lace. The aroma of the beer was made up of mild caramel, bread dough, toasted grains, and some light hops. The flavor included toasted bread, caramel, and a minimal hop bite. Grainy and semi-sweet. The mouthfeel was light to medium-bodied and somewhat watery. Mild carbonation. Light and drinkable body with a flavor that was fairly mundane. nimbleprop (936), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Decided to pick one of these up to try while I brewed my own Oktoberfest. 12oz bottle pours a clear, copper, orange with a thin, white, fizzy head. Nice aroma of breads, grains, grass, oranges, toast and just a little nutty. Flavor is nice, oranges, flowers, butter and butterscotch, nuts, slightly toasted grain and corn. Crisp, clean and a little watery on the finish. This is a session beer for sure, certainly not a revelation but drinkable and seasonal. jrmac (213), USA
