Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Bottle. Small ivory fizzy head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, bready, hoppy, and bitter. Ditto for the flavor. Slightly tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. This did not set the house on fire by any means as it was just okay as nothing stood out about it in any way, shape or form for me. It’s not a bad beer, it just isn’t a beer I want to have again. It did not leave me saying "more please".

Sept. 2006 - My first oktoberfest of the year! Unfortunately, not great. Copper color, smallish head, no lacing...copper color. Aroma was bready and some cardboardness in there. The flavor was bready and malty, with a lot of spice and a hop bitterness in the end. There was an off flavor in there...like metal and cardboard. Not pleasant.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty and caramel malt. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and crisp. An OK brew just nothing special. It was more of an amber lager than a Marzen.

Pours an orangy gold color, little head. 12 oz bottle. Satisfactory palate, and flavor is spicy and a little on the bitter side. Aftertaste is day and crisp. As my brother said "Smells like Munich, tastes like Berlin, but feels like Brooklyn."

Pours a clear copper with a finger of head after a strong poor that dies quick. Smell is extremely faint of malt and spice. Taste equivocates the smell. Malty semi dry finish. Drinks very well as its refreshing but leaves something to be desired with this style.

Bottled(355ml). -from Utobeer, Southwark, London.
Pours a nice deep amber colour with medium sized pale beige head and malty milk chocolate nose. Sweet malty and caramel herbal aroma with nice fruity and bready notes. Very smooth, dry finish.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Pours a nice dark copper color with a small tan head that seems to last. Aroma is a little bit of yeast, some malt tones. Taste matches the aroma with malts, bready taste with a slight sharp finish. Not all that bad.
