Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Pours an orangy gold color, little head. 12 oz bottle. Satisfactory palate, and flavor is spicy and a little on the bitter side. Aftertaste is day and crisp. As my brother said "Smells like Munich, tastes like Berlin, but feels like Brooklyn."

Pours a clear copper with a finger of head after a strong poor that dies quick. Smell is extremely faint of malt and spice. Taste equivocates the smell. Malty semi dry finish. Drinks very well as its refreshing but leaves something to be desired with this style.

Pours a nice deep amber colour with medium sized pale beige head and malty milk chocolate nose. Sweet malty and caramel herbal aroma with nice fruity and bready notes. Very smooth, dry finish.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Pours a nice dark copper color with a small tan head that seems to last. Aroma is a little bit of yeast, some malt tones. Taste matches the aroma with malts, bready taste with a slight sharp finish. Not all that bad.

Fruity candy indignant aroma that’s laced with pond water. First taste is tranquilly but it morphs into a rueful back of throat bitter bite. Each slug repeats the episode. Fruity attractive sweetness lured into medium bitterness. A never ending story about initial lusty attractiveness and real life. A fairly intense fest beer. Has less manners than Summit and Lancaster but cannot hold a candle to Bell’s or Schell’s and certainly is not even in the same class as the gentlemanlike behavior of Hacker. Finish is mild to medium pilsner bite.

Color is a nice clear and appetizing amber. Aroma is strong and malty with a bit of a bite to it. Flavor is rich and malty with a hint of hops and bitterness, very satisfying and refreshing. This Oktoberfest beer is remarkably smooth and easy to drink - an excellent party brew. Prosit!
