Smell is extremely faint of malt and spice. Taste equivocates the smell. Malty semi dry finish. Drinks very well as its refreshing but leaves something to be desired with this style.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Fruity candy indignant aroma that’s laced with pond water. First taste is tranquilly but it morphs into a rueful back of throat bitter bite. Each slug repeats the episode. Fruity attractive sweetness lured into medium bitterness. A never ending story about initial lusty attractiveness and real life. A fairly intense fest beer. Has less manners than Summit and Lancaster but cannot hold a candle to Bell’s or Schell’s and certainly is not even in the same class as the gentlemanlike behavior of Hacker. Finish is mild to medium pilsner bite. Cybercat (816), Georgia, USA

Aroma is strong and malty with a bit of a bite to it. Flavor is rich and malty with a hint of hops and bitterness, very satisfying and refreshing. This Oktoberfest beer is remarkably smooth and easy to drink - an excellent party brew.
