Aromas of floral hops over nice munich and caramel malts. Flavor is mostly munich and vienna malt. A good dose of caramel and some slight german hops at the finish. Smooth and well carbonated with a good soft mouthfeel. Nice example of the style. Enjoyable! RCL (1496), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Fruity malt aroma is balanced with a good amount of hops, but the beer lacks any real character. Just OK. DMRz (230), Durham, North Carolina, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, hops, some nice maltyness. Flavour is big raisins, malts along with some hops. Carbonation tickles the tongue in a nice way. emobassfoo (178), Webster, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Rated while drinking: Pours copper red. Almost the same color as the label. There’s an off-white head on top that’s starting to disappear. Aroma is of sweet malts and something wet. Like wet grass or soggy bread or before you pop some sort of pastry in the oven. Tastes pretty identical to the flavor but theres a nice rip of flavor from some hops at the end. This counters the malts really well. Something that tastes like a dirty bottle in the middle though. Palate is actually a bit more watery than I expected. Dry at the end. Pretty drinkable, but maybe too much for the style. I like all these seasonal brews coming out for the fall, but this Brooklyn seasonal seems lacking. jbrus (4903), Delft, Netherlands
