Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Bottled. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head. Quite a clean crisp lager in both taste and aroma. Malty but not the same malts I would recognise in a German fest beer. More vienna like really. That said, it’s pleasant enough and an easy, but unexciting drink.

I’ve heard good things about this brewery. Unfortunately, this attempt at an octoberfest was my first sampling. Time for the brewmaster to take a trip to Munich.. it doesnt’ compare.

Red brown with a white head. Aroma of sweet melon and ripe manure. Sweet malt in the taste, but the main impression is dry hoppiness. Or a fairly ordinary Scotch. Too much metallic carbonation.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a hazy copper color with very little tan foam. Aroma is of rich malts, bread, light fruits and caramel. Taste is of sweet malts and caramel with subtle earthy hops and light fruit notes. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and crisp. Ending is of light earthy hops and caramel notes.

12oz bottle. Deep rich copper color. foamy white head. bready and super malty aroma. scents of vanilla. flavors of caramelized malt, fruit. medium to full bodied. Overall this beer is a great Oktoberfest beer. but still not good enough to be called a Märzen !

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark, reddish amber with a medium, off-white head. Mild aromas of honey, vanilla, and peach. Flavors of peach and a nutty, roasted maltiness with a slightly bitter finish.
