| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 27, 2006 Bottle at The rake, London. Clear, deep red amber colour, small head. Nutty caramel nose. Flavours are sweet with nuts, raisins and caramel. Rather light-bodied, fizzy. Rather bland for a Brooklyn beer. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 26, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Clear reddish amber , medium off white head that settles quickly. Roasty, grainy aroma. Medium body, light carbonation. Sweetnes imparted by some nice roasted grains giving hints of caramel and toffee. Just enough bitterness comes on to prevent a sticky sweetness. Very lightly hopped, appropriate for the style. Easy drinking makes for a nice session beer. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck brown with a blurb on the neck label, fall ’06 release.
Poured a clear reddish amber with a foamy, fluffy pale tan head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, minimal amount of sticking.
Aromas of toasted grain and malts, a light spicy and floral hoppiness.
Good carbonation and a malty crisp, chewy and creamy smooth medium bodied mouthfeel.
Good Oktoberfest taste, toasted grains and caramel malts, a light mesh of raisin fruitiness and alcohol, a spicy, fresh hoppiness that is soft in their bitterness, and a dry grainy, malty finish with a bit of fruitiness and hops lingering in the palate.
A tasty and balanced Oktoberfest lager, very good drinkability, I can see myself drinking this all night on an October Saturday, smooth and easy, quite quaffable.

Pours a thin head that stayed. Pale orangey color with decent carbonation. Decent taste and palate and big malty taste. Decent.
