Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

2005 bottle. I’m not a big fan of oktoberfest but his one wasn’t that bad. Pours a thin head that stayed. Pale orangey color with decent carbonation. Decent taste and palate and big malty taste. Decent.

Reddish-brown color that was almost a little cloudy. Malty aroma that I guess had berries in it if you looked for them... otherwise I would never have picked them up. Taste was highly malty, a little bready, and slightly creamy. I picked up some dark fruits like prunes or plums in there too. Full bodied. Not bad, but not the Oktoberfest I was looking for.

Aroma is of sweet malts, light berries, and floral notes. Flavor is semi-sweet bread/grain malt, hint of berry, and floral hops. A little on the thin side, buts gets better as it warms up.

Pours reddish brown with little creamy off-white head. Aroma is very sweet - much maltiness. Mouthfeel is a bit of a letdown - a little watery. Sweet taste with a sour aftertaste.

A reddish beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of sour berries, grain, and some hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of cowberries, and later on lesser notes of strawberries, all the time with an underlying note of grain, in the latter stages a herbal hop note joins in, leading to a medium bitter end. I find the body thin.

Pours a clear orangeish copper with a thin ivory head. No lace. Smells of caramel malt, richly malty. Faint citrusy hops and lightly smoky. Tastes of rich caramel malt. A solid hop profile underneath the malt. A bit sour oddly enough. Mouth is quite sticky and sweet. This is decent but too sweet for more than a couple.
