| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Poured with initial carbonation and then NO head at all. Little to NO lacing. A very boring appearance overall: clear copper colored. Aroma was light, hard to pick up (maybe some bread / barley smells). The flavor was all malt, semi sweet, but lacking any spicing or other oktoberfest character. Some bread and roasted malts detected. Within style, this can be beat, but I found it REALLY drinkable, similar to Smithwick’s in that sense (flavor and drinkability). TPaliga (212), Munster, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2006 pours red-brown and hazy. Aroma is yeasty and sweet. Nice big malty flavor with mild hops finish. Easy drinking and tasty, just mediocre. sfontain (507), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2006 Picked this up for $2.99 for a six-pack at Kenny Road Market, Columbus, Ohio. Pours dark brown with a minimal white, fizzy head; head dissipates into a lasting ring; light lacing down the glass. Aroma sweet, bready, and malty with light caramel and flowers. Flavor is a bit more generic, with bread and malt and caramel; barely bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Reasonable for the price I paid. Skinnyviking (4187), Copenhagen, Denmark

Flavor of roasted barley malt. Not much bitterness. Sorry mates I had expected more. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 28, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear amber color with bubbly off white head. Strong malty caramel aroma with a hint of salted meat. Flavor is dominated by caramel malt, but there is also a touch of dried cherry. Slightly spicy with a crisp finish. beerscout (62), Albany, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2006 Bottle. Amber color. Small off-white head, which dissipated to a ring and a little lace on the surface. Aroma was malty with fruity accents. Smooth to the palate, with medium carbonation. Flavors were roasted and caramel malts and hops. Started bitter, but became faintly sweet and spicy. Not an ingenious Oktoberfest brew, but I liked it, as I do most of Brooklyn’s offerings.
