Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Cloudy light amber with an aroma of pear and bready malts. Initial quick bitterness leads to sweet juicy malts. Finish is dry, reminiscent of baking bread. Easy to drink, kind of thin, simple.

"Poured a copper color with almost no head to speak of, but left okay lacing. Sweet malts, aroma. Tasted to much of malts, over powering. Mouthfeel was carbonated. "

Bottle: Courtesy of BuckNaked via trade. Moderate aroma of apples and light caramel. Pours a cloudy orangish-brown with a quick diminishing white head. Flavor is rather week. Hints of apple, toffee, and caramel. Finishes with a light bitterness and hints of smoke.

Thanks to beeryum for this one Pours a dark, hazy amber with a quckly diminishing head. The flavor is slightly malty with some tongue tingle. This is a nice session brew.

Bottle, at home. Dark orange with beige head, immediately gone, modest lacings. Aroma moderate malty, moderate to heavy hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet, moderate to heavy bitter, long duration. Light to medium body, oily, soft carbonated. Not a typical Oktoberfestbeer!

Bottle. Pours amber with a beige/brown head. Malty and nutty aroma with remote chocolate notes. Hops appears as it warms. Flavour is sweetish and malty and also has hops appearing as it warms 26-12-05.

Very clear copper color pour with a thin wispy white head. Sugary caramel candy grainy malty aroma has a touch of dry European hops. Starts with some sweet, but thin, grainy malty body and some mild hoppy balance along with a hint of tartness. Not very true to style, but not all that bad either.

12z bottle. Amber golden hue. Spotty white head. Caramel malt flavor. Bread and slight citrus. Nice slick body with a strong maple caramel flavor. Sweet. With a crisp, citrusy hop fiinish. Somewhere, I get rubber, and citrus and floral aspects. Good example.
