Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

On tap at Brooklyn Brewery, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Clear amber hued beer with small off-white head with good lacing. No discernable carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt and hops. Light-to-medium bodied with sweet malt flavor and finishes with lingering hop bitterness. Rather thin textured and watery flavored. A drinkable but weak Oktoberfest beer.

Bottle-pours a deep red copper color with a smallest head that leaves a slight amount of lacing. Good filling malt taste mixed a coying amout of sweetness , had a nice roasted aroma. A fine Oktoberfest. Asheville Wine 1.30

This is a beer I had last year. Memory is poor. Clear slightly dark amber body with small head. Caramel and earth. That’s about all I can say. Was ok.

Amber color with a decent white head. Very malty aroma with some hints of pear. Flavor is sweet and simple, perhaps too sweet for the style. Well made but plain.

A nice easy drinking Oktoberfest beer. Nothing spectatular, but nothing horriable either. Pours burnt red... pretty malty, no overwelming hop taste. nice frothy head, decent lacing. Not bad for an American Oktober brew.

This didn’t do it for me. I’m amazed at how often american bewers just miss the mark on oktoberfest beers. Malty but just somehow too flat. Not a beer I would want to hoist over and over in large steins.

Bottle- Slightly malty aroma. Flavour also malty, and slightly cardboardy. Almost clear, dark orange/copper colour. High carbonation. Boring.
