Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Pretty red amberish colour. Aroma is nice, toasty and malty (bread). Flavour is pleasant and malty too. Not very interesting but none the less very nice - the bottle seemed very small... ;o)

GLowing red orange color with a moderate eggshell head. :Light malts with a hint of lemon in the aroma, also some raw potatoes. Slightly burnt sweet malts in the body.

This is a decent beer but not more than that. The malt is far too muted, the hops restrained, tastes watery, not much there.

Clear copper pour under a short and fluffy white head with minimal lacing. Classic malty aroma with notes of toasted bicuits and cereal. Flavors were very consistent with the malty aroma with the addition of some spice, grain and a little hoppy bite at the back of the tongue. Very clean and snappy finish. Overall, a solid Oktoberfest which doesn’t stray at all from what you would expect from the style but that conservative approach left a bit to be desired.

Deep amber-orange-red hue with a medium, creamy white head. Cookie, dark bread, floral, herbal, dough, biscuit. Damn clean aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic flavor. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter finish. Maybe a little astringent and a bit too bitter for the malt profile. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Pours copper colored and a fast disappearing head. Malt and a bit of caramel in the aroma. Rather thin malt flavor with hints of spices and nut. Thin in the body and quite uninteresting. Not much of an oktoberfest!

Copper. Malty caramel sweetness. Not bad, but low on my list of oktoberfests

This was one of my favorites in the marzen vertical sort of thing we were doing at the pre Guvna departs GA tasting. A malty and bready aroma. An orangish/brown apperance with nice head and good lacing on the glass. The flavor was fairly dry with some citrus fruit mainly orange peel and more bread showing through. A nice one.
