Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Nutty and malty aroma, notes of bicuits and cookie dough. Copper colored body with a medium sized white head. Fruity and malty flavor, ends on a light fresh and hoppy note. Very spritzy and soft.

Bottle. Red-brown appearence. Caramel, malty-nutty, more fruity than most lagers, well balanced.

Jax Beer and Wine, Atlanta, Ga - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium orange with a thin, tight white head. Fresh lake water aroma, with a hint of caramel. Flavor has some ripening vegetable notes, a bit of caramel and some underlying bitterness. Mouthfeel is slighlty spritzy. About average.

Beer pours a deep amber/brown indicative of a true-to-style German Oktoberfest in the same vein as Ayinger. Malt displays depth and a warm caramel note with the added bonus of a nice hops spice betraying the beers American craft origin. One of the best of this season’s American Okts.
