Had this on at the Parlour in Sharpsburg with Ryan and radio star Kevin Battle after Sidney Crosby’s first game in the Burgh. Lots of malt, dough, bread, and sweetness in this beer. I like it. It has a litle more hop to it than lots that I have had, but to me, that’s a good thing. Nice full carb and good medium body. I like it. SSSteve (2066), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2005 Poured amber with a nice tan head. Pretty good head retention. Aroma was very sweet with courant, caramel and autumn fruits. Taste was sweet yet pleasant. Nice maltiness with some biscuit in that flavor. Solid but nothing memorable. cvillebeer (134), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

I usually am impressed with Brooklyn’s beers, but this one seems bland. The aroma intices with maltiness, lager yeast and a touch of hops, but the flavor doesn’t follow through. Better than some, but not up to Brooklyn’s standards. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Bready, malty aroma with a touch of caramel. Flavor was mostly biscuity malt with some caramel and very little else. Kind of thin, but easy drinking. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA

Light nose of biscuity malt, light caramel sweetness, and some perceptible bitterness. Flavor is slightly sweet malt with a decidedly crisp, bitter finish. Fairly lager-like body, though a bit light; this could have been heavier and smoother. A really drinkable beer from a dependable brewer-- I might not get an all-star, but I certainly won’t be let down. Glad it didn’t taste like an over-spiced pumpkin ale.
