| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2005 Poured amber with a nice tan head. Pretty good head retention. Aroma was very sweet with courant, caramel and autumn fruits. Taste was sweet yet pleasant. Nice maltiness with some biscuit in that flavor. Solid but nothing memorable. cvillebeer (134), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2005 A little dissapointed in this one. I usually am impressed with Brooklyn’s beers, but this one seems bland. The aroma intices with maltiness, lager yeast and a touch of hops, but the flavor doesn’t follow through. Better than some, but not up to Brooklyn’s standards. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Bready, malty aroma with a touch of caramel. Flavor was mostly biscuity malt with some caramel and very little else. Kind of thin, but easy drinking. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2005 Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Amber color with little head. Light nose of biscuity malt, light caramel sweetness, and some perceptible bitterness. Flavor is slightly sweet malt with a decidedly crisp, bitter finish. Fairly lager-like body, though a bit light; this could have been heavier and smoother. A really drinkable beer from a dependable brewer-- I might not get an all-star, but I certainly won’t be let down. Glad it didn’t taste like an over-spiced pumpkin ale. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 15, 2005 Bottled. This is not true to the original German style. Amber coloured. Weak minerally cardboard aroma. Weak flavour. with malty notes. Very thin. Light bodied. A ridiculous attempt of a wonderful German beer style. This is a weak crap lager. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 8, 2005 Thin Foamy head. Reduces quickly. Light bready aroma with some malts and biscuits. Color is a dark orange. Flavor is malty and slightly bitter. Pretty normal but with a nice plesant palate. Goes down very easy. Finish is slightly creamy with a slight dry and bitter finish. A decent brew for the nice cool weather.
