Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Pours a deep amber into the glass with a nice off white head that has some lasting power. Beautiful clarity. Aroma is soft caramel malt with just a hint of hops. Flavor is subtle with some grain and slight caramel sweetness. Nice bitterness. Not a bad beer.

12 oz. – The Wine Source. Clear dark copper, off-white creamy head. Sweet toasted malt aromas warm to a soft caramel bread-like note. Well balanced as soft toasted cereal grains ride a lighter spicy hop foundation. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, soft bittersweet finish. A decent representation of the style and certainly worthy of a try…

12 oz bottle - pours an amber color with a quickly dissapating head. Arome of carmel malt, spice and bread. Taste of malt, caramel, honey, spice and some sweetness that lends this beer to tasting more like an amber than a lager - overall, not too bad.

Orange/amber pour with small and brief white head. Bready/toasty malt on the nose and some hops. Mild orange/citrus. Dry finish. Pretty boring beer.

copper pour with a slight offwhite head. Toasted malt dominates the aroma and flavor a bit of hoppy bitterness was pleseant. Crisp and clean at the finish.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a nice clear orange/amber with weak beige head. Aroma of some caramel, some nuts, some light fruit, a little spice. Flavor is of a little maltiness, a little nutty, some hoppy spice, a little fruit, some caramel. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. Overall, a decent (but not impressive by any means) Oktoberfest.

Draught at MacGregors in Henrietta. Nice ruddy brown color. Faint amber malt aroma, but a rich malt flavor, with good caramel and a spicy, peppery hop finish. Nicely done; subdued but flavorful.
