A reddish beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of sour berries, grain, and some hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of cowberries, and later on lesser notes of strawberries, all the time with an underlying note of grain, in the latter stages a herbal hop note joins in, leading to a medium bitter end. I find the body thin.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Very pretty, dark amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Vague aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Medium body, notes of caramel and alcohol with a very dry, almost crisp, bitter finish. 231005

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange to brown with a diminished white head. Fruity and dense malty aroma. Sweet malty and slight spiced to breadish. Vague roasted malty. Sweet caramel and slight breadish lingering into the finish.

Bottled. Dusty and caramelly with lifeless crystal malt character half covered in piney hops. Finishes with salty cardboard. True to the original German style? Nothing could be more wrong.

Light light unclear medium red amber orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, vintage notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081121]

Bottle- Slightly malty aroma. Flavour also malty, and slightly cardboardy. Almost clear, dark orange/copper colour. High carbonation. Boring.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, hops, some nice maltyness. Flavour is big raisins, malts along with some hops. Carbonation tickles the tongue in a nice way.

Bottled. Clear orange coloured with a medium sized off white head. Sweet aroma of malts and caramel with hoppy notes. Flavour of malts and caramel with hoppy notes. Hoppy finish.
