JK (2411), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Apr 26, 2008 Shared by Akevitt. Orange color. Little carbonation. Light malt flavor and standard lager aroma. Some bread flavor as well. Too light, even for the style.

Overall: Better than bud, but not great. I’d not go out of my way for it again. 15 out of 20. dp (479), uniontown, Ohio, USA Sep 6, 2008 my favorite time of the year keeps getting better as oktoberfest samples arrive daily. a much heartier sample of this type than my last example, this one is a winner. afireinside96 (428), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 2, 2008 12oz bottle served in a lager glass. Pours dark amber with a quickly diminishing off-white head. Lots of caramel and biscuit on the nose. Very malty with some spicy hops to balance. Much more body than a standard fest beer. Not quite true to style, a little over the top, but still very good. Spab (55), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 2, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear brownish/gold with a small disappearing off white head. Strong malts in the nose with a hint of hopiness. Malts in the taste. Medium body with fairly fizzy carbonation. scottw86 (103), New York, USA Aug 31, 2008 Poured a reddish brown with a smaller white head. Aroma was not very strong, but mostly of spices and malts. Taste was good with plenty of spice. Cinnamon, oranges, nuts, and grain were all present. Finish was smooth.
