This was the first beer I had tried from Brooklyn Brewery and it definitely did not disappoint. mesperon (135), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Orangey copper and clear, little bit of head. Very weak aroma of caramel, sweet malt and bread. Watery mouthfeel. Crisp, clean, a bit of grassy bitterness. No real hop flavor, sweetness or roast. not much to it at all. Finishes ultra clean. FishManLA (290), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Pours a medium amber color with a medium sized off white head. Yeasty grainy nose. Not like "bread" like the best Octoberfest’s are -- Well, maybe bread *dough*. Taste is nicely malty with just a bit of hop. Short hop finish. A decent Oktoberfest beer, not outstanding. broozer81 (64), , New Jersey, USA

Straight forward malt flavor followed with a touch of hops in the aftertaste. Overall a decent brew. jkaiser (220), Orlando, Florida, USA
