Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Pours light amber with a good-sized off-white head. A nice floral, bright aroma with grass and fruit notes. A very drinkable beer, but with limited complexity. Crisp with minimal aftertaste, thin, a bit watery. Overall balanced but disappointing. They got the essence of the style...but nothing unique or special about this one.

I expected a lot mreo out of brooklyn- this is generic, lame, and extremely boring. Light and smooth- like budweiser says- the difference is drinkability.

Clear amber with a tiny off-white head, lively one. Aroma of Vienna malts, noble hops, grains and mild nuttiness. Taste is somewhat bland with caramel, toasted Munich malts, light toffee. Mostly clean finish and a touch of astringency.

Amber brown color with a fluffy head. Aroma is clean, some spice, grain and caramel. Flavor is clean, mild and balanced. Nice spice level and has a nice body. Very drinkable, nice carbonation and the biscuit and spice flavor is nice.

Nice beer with sweetness and caramel, I think it can be drunk all year round, whether it’s cold or hot. Therefore it is an Oktober beer. The color is great as a second autumn sunset.

Courtesy of Joe McPhee this poured a rich amber color and raised a medium sized tan head and light lacing. The nose is a mildly roasted malt and some floral hops. The body is medium and smooth. The flavor is caramel malts and those floral hips is good balance. This is an excellent Märzen and would go good with potatoes and bratwurst.

Amber color with a dissappearing white head. Mild yeast and malt aroma. Slightly sweet caramel malt flavor, with a bit of hops on the finish. One of the better American incarnations of an Oktoberfest.

Aroma of caramel & hops. Taste like a mix between a red ale & pilsner. Nothing special

Very nice Oktoberfest style beer perfect for the fall. This was the first beer I had tried from Brooklyn Brewery and it definitely did not disappoint.
