Dec 9, 2009 Nice beer with sweetness and caramel, I think it can be drunk all year round, whether it’s cold or hot. Therefore it is an Oktober beer. The color is great as a second autumn sunset.

Dec 1, 2009 Courtesy of Joe McPhee this poured a rich amber color and raised a medium sized tan head and light lacing. The nose is a mildly roasted malt and some floral hops. The body is medium and smooth. The flavor is caramel malts and those floral hips is good balance. This is an excellent Märzen and would go good with potatoes and bratwurst.

Nov 29, 2009 Amber color with a dissappearing white head. Mild yeast and malt aroma. Slightly sweet caramel malt flavor, with a bit of hops on the finish. One of the better American incarnations of an Oktoberfest.

Nov 15, 2009 Very nice Oktoberfest style beer perfect for the fall. This was the first beer I had tried from Brooklyn Brewery and it definitely did not disappoint.

Nov 8, 2009 Orangey copper and clear, little bit of head. Very weak aroma of caramel, sweet malt and bread. Watery mouthfeel. Crisp, clean, a bit of grassy bitterness. No real hop flavor, sweetness or roast. not much to it at all. Finishes ultra clean.

Nov 2, 2009 Pours a medium amber color with a medium sized off white head. Yeasty grainy nose. Not like "bread" like the best Octoberfest’s are -- Well, maybe bread *dough*. Taste is nicely malty with just a bit of hop. Short hop finish. A decent Oktoberfest beer, not outstanding.

Oct 31, 2009 Got to say that I really enjoyed this one, better than I thought it would be... this has a nice rich bready flavor up front that gives it good character that works....sweet malts,caramel, with a light hop backround..not bad at all..
