Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

Long live octoberfest! This beer is rich and malty. Very doughy. Not terribly hop-ridden. Amber-dark-gold in color. Hint of citrus.

I thought this brew was stunning with the complexity it displayed. Malty, bready, a little nutty. Sweet, and bitter in balance. I say well done.

12 oz bottle poured deep brown with some red highlights and a nice fluffy off white head. Breadlike aroma and nice semi-sweet taste. Some chocolate notes in there. Average marzen style.

2008 Flour City Brew Fest. Pours amber in color. Aroma of malt and spice. Off white head. Flavor of malt up front. Finishes with a nice hop balance. Decent Oktoberfest.

Bottle from Tuckers Maltings. Pours a dark orange with a light tan head. Aroma is lightly sweet and grainy with a note of dark toasty bread. Taste is husky grain, bready dough, and crystal malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate, lively carbonation.
