Poured a light golden amber, with a thin white head.A somewhat malty nose with german style hops. Nice smooth and dry finish. Very good beer, and very refreshing. Bragesnak (2257), Aarhus, Denmark

Has the traditional malt and bitterhops profile and the american dryhops. A great combo but somehow it is not fully balanced here Perm (151), Tryon, North Carolina, USA

I used to reserve Trumer for that designation, but Brooklyn has usurped the throne. Hoppy, refreshing, with a smooth finish all the way down. Perfect on a cool spring evening with a homemade veggie pizza! SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 11, 2008 12oz bottle: Deep golden pour with a inch thick frothy head that does a good job of sticking around. The creamy, malt driven nose is inviting. Lots of honey and toffee upfront with lesser notes of sourdough and noble hops in the back. The hops come out in the body, nice and bitter, balancing the maltiness. Grassy, piney hops offer the resin needed to balance the luscious malts. Very clean and defined without, this is a fine example of what a great pilsner can be. RPillsbury (112), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Draught at the Magician, New York, New York. The aroma of toffee, grass and citrus was very promising for this beer, but the flavour didn’t live up to it. It fell flat with a mostly bitter taste and it was a bit too thin as well. changeup45 (788), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Lately I’ve been looking for beers that would be great for the summer and something to store in my golf bag :-) This fits the bill. Golden colored, pours some head and lace but not a lot. Sweet lemon malt aroma, not overpowering but there’s enough there. Very well balanced and smooth. Crisp mild hop bite with a floral flavor and even some hints on honey. Lately my success rate hasn’t been all that great with new beers so it was very nice to get something I really did enjoy.
