| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 11, 2008 12oz bottle: Deep golden pour with a inch thick frothy head that does a good job of sticking around. The creamy, malt driven nose is inviting. Lots of honey and toffee upfront with lesser notes of sourdough and noble hops in the back. The hops come out in the body, nice and bitter, balancing the maltiness. Grassy, piney hops offer the resin needed to balance the luscious malts. Very clean and defined without, this is a fine example of what a great pilsner can be. RPillsbury (112), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Draught at the Magician, New York, New York. The aroma of toffee, grass and citrus was very promising for this beer, but the flavour didn’t live up to it. It fell flat with a mostly bitter taste and it was a bit too thin as well. changeup45 (797), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Lately I’ve been looking for beers that would be great for the summer and something to store in my golf bag :-) This fits the bill. Golden colored, pours some head and lace but not a lot. Sweet lemon malt aroma, not overpowering but there’s enough there. Very well balanced and smooth. Crisp mild hop bite with a floral flavor and even some hints on honey. Lately my success rate hasn’t been all that great with new beers so it was very nice to get something I really did enjoy. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2008 I really like this beer. It has a very refreshing and crisp flavor with a nice amount of hop punch at the end. The mouthfeel is dry, sharp, and a little resiny. This is a nice, full flavored beer, which is nonetheless thirst quenching. BCMike22 (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Poured into pint glass. A light, golden color. A little cloudy, not quite transparent. Good head which fairly quickly faded. Light malt scent, nothing too strong. Very, very bitter. Overly malty. Not very balanced. Sour finish. I think I may have just gotten a bad bottle, as this just is far below Brooklyn’s normal quality. Will re-rate if I get another bottle. FatTony (121), Augusta, Georgia, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Mar 29, 2008 12 ounce bottle- GACK! The nicest thing I can say about this crap is that it made a cheerful sound swirling down the drain. I am fairly sure that it is not exactly poisonous, but DAMN! Don’t just skip it, try not to get any on you. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2008 bottle. average white fizzy head (quickly dissapated) into clear golden body. good lacing present. aromas of grass, light hops, light lemon, some light metallicness. flavor is moderately bitter throughout. moderate duration on finish. above average carbonation. dry texture. A very good pilsner. ChainGangGuy (2588), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Appearance: Pours a, effervescent, lightly hazy, yellow-orange body with a small, white head.
Smell: Pale malt aroma with full floral notes and a nice spiciness present. Malts become more prominent as the beer warms, but a tiny hint of diacetyl seems to show up, too.
Taste: Pale malts with a crackery flavor. Floral hops with a spicy bitterness that lingers beyond the finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: A solid, refreshing pilsner that I wouldn’t mind having on-hand during the warmer months.
