Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

This has a nice bite for a pilsner and the notes hops and malt carry over this crisp and hoppy pilsner.

Pours golden yellow with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma of caramel, grass, toffee. Wow, not what I was expecting for taste. Very sweet and rich, not like most pilseners I’ve had. Slightly skunky aftertaste. Lots of malt, very nice. Reminds me of much stronger beers. Nice full motuhfeel, definetely an interesting drink.

12oz bottle. Pours a pale straw with lots of carbonation. Little to no aroma. I’m always wary of anything described as "refreshing" on the label, and this proves to be no exception. The taste started off rather bland - but eventually, a somewhat nice aftertaste actually did develop. I guess the Brooklyn Pilsener offers something lighter than the Brooklyn Lager, but I would choose the latter every time.

straw coloured with thick head. a little hazy. aroma is slightly hoppy and earthy. nice carbonation, slight sweet malt followed by a smooth hop finish. nice beer though not anything i’d rush to buy again. Would be a good one to get friends turned on to craft brews.
