Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

Brooklyn Pilsner isn’t your wimpy, run-of-the mill pils. For a Pilsner it carries a heavy mouthfeel with a long finish and crisp bite. It’s golden amber hue also makes this brew a pleasant visual aesthetic.

Nice light honey aroma with hints of yeast--belgian like. Hazy golden with a nice white head. Medium palate with high carbonation. Very clean malt flavor with some yeast and a crisp German malt presence.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm Clear golden, rich firm head. Concebtrated hay aroma. Medium dry with clean, dense mouthfeel. Beside the dense malt it’s dominated by hay-like hops. Lingering very bitter finish. A near perfect pilsener. Perhaps it’s greatest problems lies in it’s flawlessness. With it’s perfect laquer and perfection is every sense it might lack the charm that renders the character to the pilseners I like te very most. Having said that, this is is the only excuse I can come up with not to give this beer a top score - so that should mean something.

Amber, moderate head. The aroma is very nice and ale-like. It has a lot of aroma hops in both aroma and flavour, where I also find fruit and a nice bitterness. It’s a really OK pilsner.

light floral aroma. Pours a nice golden yellow, foamy head. Nice malt presence giving it a full body. Finish is tempered by a refreshing hop finish. An enjoyable pilsener.
