The hops come back on you - nice. Full body. Served way to cold on tap at the Brooklyn Brewery Jazz Bar at the Newark, NJ airport. ElJefe (553), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 28, 2006 Fizzy carbonation keeps a constant layer of foam on this light amber yellow brew. Aroma of citrus rind, lemon, grassy hops. Flavor is pretty crisp and dry, with grassy hops in the finish. webjedi (249), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2006 Full white pour on the head, light golden yellow cover (almost towards a green tint). Because of the ice cold serving, I’d stop in saying completely unfiltered, but somewhat cloudy. Heavy lacing do to the head not disappating quickly, but also due to the brew. Light, sweet taste, no afterbite on this brew. I’m not sure if it was a dirty glass (doubtful) but there were "grassy items" floating in the beer. Generally a pleasant drink if I were to pick this as a session beer. Smells like most macro brews here in America, so nothing special there, but a lot less bitter than those (non-existent). As with other Brooklyn Brewery beers, consistently pleasant. (Bottle 2/27/2006) Habanero (623), Tranbjerg, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 18, 2006 Bottle: Nice white head but short lasting. Small hoppy aroma. Pale golden body. Hoppy flavour. Watery texture. Light bodied. Good crispy and bitter finish. Too expensive compared to the quality. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Golden straw color out of the bottle with a whispy white head and a light citrus nose. Strong bready malts with lemon/lime citrus flavors. Lingering hop bitterness that was mostly lime and grass. Nice pilsner. thehinge (244), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Pours a honey color wth a small white head. Grassy aroma. Citrusy on the front end with a nice hop bite on the finish. Not bad at all. theshocker (329), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2006 Yellow, just a bit hazy. Small head with big bubbles fades quickly. Spicy, pugnent german hops aroma. Beer feels too thick for a pilsner, too much body. Its smooth though, a little bit piney but lacks flavor overall. Its ok, but boring. Can’t see myself buying this again. NosirIwont (1180), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours pale golden with an off-white head. Sweetish hoppy aroma. Nice, but has a touch of the old hops cheesy smell. Not so much that it matters, really. Flavour is hoppy, slightly crispy. Medium bitter finish. Could do with a bit more body, but overall a decent beer. 10-02-06.
