Commercial Description:
Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

Clear yellow color with a nice white head. Aroma is doughy and spicy. The flavor is crisp and clean with a tinge of hops. An attractive pilsener.

Golden color, medium white head. Aroma was of semi-grainy malts and fresh floral hops. Excellently balanced flavor, firm malt prescence followed by some crisp hop bitterness. Citrusy and flowery. Smooth, easy drinking, very palatable. Well done, very enjoyable.

12 fl oz. brown bottle. Medium straw colour with some haze. Small white head, finely bubbled. Fresh scent of hops, slightly floral and citrusy. Some grainy, bready malts, hints of citrus (orangey) hops in the finish, slight bitterness. Pretty clean and refreshing.

Beautiful golden yellow with half inch head that stayed through most of the glass. Very citrusy and grassy -- the website says the traditional pils hop combination, but I would almost swear Cascade or Liberty hops were used in some capacity. ANyhow, the brew had a wonderful smoothness and well balanced character. I could certainly session with this brew. Too bad I only get to have it when I fly in to the NY area. Good job Garrett. Cheers!

Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of yogurt, lemons and some hay. Tastes orangey with a very nice sweet finish. A classic pils it is not, but this is one heck of a good beer.

Yellow gold color, large foamy white head. Clean grainy malt aroma with hints of acrid floral hops. Smooth maltiness with a crisp bitter citrusy hop presence in the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and light with a lingering crispness.

Out of bottle. Aroma hoppy and sweet malt. Poured a nice clean golden with thin white foam head. Flavor was good, floral and citric hop flavor, primarily orange peel. Palate was medium body and finish was mostly clean. Overall not to complex but a solid daily drinker.
