Tastes orangey with a very nice sweet finish. A classic pils it is not, but this is one heck of a good beer. FoolishMortal (966), San Diego, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 30, 2005 Bottle: Courtesy of Degarth via trade. Aroma is light sweet with a touch of orange and lighter hops. Pours a transparent gold with a small white head. Decent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet up front with orange. Orange becomes more orange peel in tthe finish with some hops that are stronger than most pilsners. Refreshing and drinkable, which is all I really hope for in a pilsner. The best examples of the style will pretty much always score in the low 3’s. It’s just not a style I get excited about. With that said, if pilsners are your thing, this one is definitely worth a try. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy and has a faint citrus undertone. The flavor is light and crisp malts with a hint of citrus underneath. Not too bad for a pils. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

The aroma was malty with a mild sweaty sock note. The mouth feel was mild and tingly from start to finish with a crisp malt hop palate and a malt hop dough flavor.
